Picking up where Guardian Medical Essentials left off, GME II will continue to provide you instruction on critical trauma care after a violent altercation. Previously learned skills will be revisited in order to reinforce these skills and continue beyond them. Building a robust medical assessment, with associated interventions, will be the main topic of this course. Large portions of this course will be dedicated to hands-on skills stations, interventions of unusual wound modality and an emphasis on improvised interventions when commercial medical equipment is not available.
